Kicking of 2016: Dave & Busters

Our middle school group had a great time kicking of the new year at Dave & Busters in Times Square! We used our Moovit app to determine our travel route and decided that the uptown 6 train to 42nd Street and the Shuttle crosstown to Times Square would be the best way to arrive at our destination. We reviewed our acronym (Never, Eat, Soggy, Waffles for North/South/East/West) when walking and suggest that parents practice this in between sessions to generalize these important travel training skills. Members had a wonderful time playing games together and collecting tickets to earn prizes! We had lunch at a local restaurant and talked about what outings they were interested in for next week's Members' Choice outing. Members also talked about how they spent their holiday break and what they look forward to for 2016. We look forward to making new memories in this group in 2016!
