American Museum of Natural History: Titanosaur!

Our high school group had a wonderful time at the Museum of Natural History this past weekend. We reviewed the various options for arriving at the museum, also taking into account the weekend subway changes, and decided to take the 6 train to the Shuttle and then the 1 train. Upon arrival to the museum, we decided to check out the new "The Secret World Inside You" exhibit and learn about the various microbes on our bodies. We were able to participate in an interactive presentation, which was a very good learning experience. We also went to see the gigantic Titanosaur, which was 122 feet long! This species lived in the forests of today’s Patagonia about 100 to 95 million years ago, and is one of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered. We opted to take the downtown C train on the way home and transfered to the N/R train to try out a different route. On the way home, each member discussed which exhibit they liked the most and why. Next week, we will check out the Museum of Food and Drink in Brooklyn.
