Our High School and Girls groups enjoyed a fun morning visit the locations where 50 different movies were filmed on a Midtown Manhattan Movie Tour. We met at our designated meet up locations and discussed the fastest route to Columbus Circle (the tour starting point). Using the Moovit app, the girls group decided to take the M79 bus across town and then transfer to the C train at 81st street. The High School group decided to walk to the N train at 28th street and ride to 57th street avoid transfers.
At Columbus Circle, the groups took some time to greet each other and engage in friendly conversation while waiting for the tour to start. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather while we took a nice stroll around the city and got a glimpse of where some of our favorite movie scenes took place. Students were very excited to see where scenes from Spider Man, Home Alone 2, Superman, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s were shot. During the tour members engaged in reciprocal conversation with each other and participated in movie trivia. At the end of the tour, we stopped at Fresh and Co for a snack and a chance to discuss what we thought about the tour and spring break plans. It was a fun day enjoyed by all!
