Fall 2016 Kick Off: Bowling

Our High School and Middle School Boys groups kicked off the school year with a trip to Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square this past weekend. We met at Bread and Butter and opened the group with an icebreaker to help everyone catch up after busy summers and get to know new members. We each received four skittles and answered different questions based on what color skittles we received, giving us a chance to get to know new members and catch up with old friends. After our icebreaker, members discussed the best way to get to our destination. Using the Moovit app members looked up our travel options and decided on taking the 6 train to the S to Times Square. While at the bowling alley, our members enjoyed a friendly game of bowling and engaged each other in reciprocal conversation. Members also enjoyed a delicious lunch while bowling and shared feelings about the upcoming school year and goals they have for Teenz In The City this year.

It was a fun afternoon spent with old and new friends and a great start to the school year!
