Shake it Off...at The Taylor Swift Experience

This past Sunday, the high school group traveled to the south seaport district to explore the Taylor Swift Experience at The Grammy Museum. The Teenz members collectively found directions to the the Grammy Museum where the exhibit was held. The group navigated their way to the seaport district by traveling on the downtown 6 train. The Teenz group reached their destination while admiring the neighborhood views and cultural experience. Upon arrival to the museum, our members embarked on a journey to receive an inside look into the life of one of the most successful music artists of our time. The exhibit gave the Teenz members an in-depth look at the multi-platinum-selling artist as a singer, musician, songwriter and producer through personal photographs, home videos, interactive experiences, and Taylor’s swift's iconic performance outfits. Soon after the long tour, our group leaders finished the exciting day with a day of feasting at the Mexican restaurant called La Luchador. The spectacular cuisine spot served exquisite Mexican foods such as burritos, tacos and quesadillas. While at lunch, members engaged in reciprocal conversation about the exhibit and got to know one of our new members who was at Teenz for the first time. To top off the great day, we ended the session with a treat at It's Sugar, a candy store local to the seaport. The Teenz groups would all go home full of contentment and excitement for the next fun-filled social outing with Teenz in The City!
