Circle Line Boat Tour: Statue of Liberty

Our group had a wonderful time learning about our city's history at the Circle Line boat tour from Pier 16 in South Street Seaport. We welcomed three new members to group and made sure they felt comfortable by starting with introductions. We met at our usual meeting spot and decided that the best travel route would be to take the downtown 6 train to Brooklyn Bridge and walk across town to the East River. We used our google maps to navigate the walking directions east and group leaders encouraged teamwork and communication among members while doing this.

Some members decided to go on the top floor outside, whereas other members remained downstairs while they listened to the guided tour. We had some extra time after the cruise so we ordered ice cream and walked around the shops at South Street Seaport. During this time, members talked about how it has been being back at school and what has been fun, challenging and new. We used our google maps to navigate our way back to the subway and made it back in record time! We are looking forward to more fun with our new friends this semester!
