Exploring the Museum of the Moving Image

This Sunday, our members had the chance to visit a one of a kind museum called the Museum of Moving Image. This outing was a great opportunity for the members to explore a new borough called Queens. Our day began with all our members meeting up at our usual meeting spot where they engaged and greeted new and old members. Once all our members arrived, it was time to look on Google Maps to see where we would be going. After looking at the directions, the members decided to take the R train to Steinway Street (Queens). On our train ride to Queens, our members engaged in friendly discussions including jokes, hobbies, tv shows, and favorite colors. Upon arriving to Queens, our members took out their Google Maps again and led the way to the museum. Once we arrived, the leaders assisted the members in purchasing their tickets. At the museum, the members had the opportunity to play different video games, view the evolution of digital entertainment, explore the Jim Henson exhibit (Muppets), and view different kinds of art and artifacts. When the members finished exploring the museum, they had lunch at Panera Bread. At Panera, the leaders assisted the members in purchasing some dessert. While eating our lunch, the members engaged in friendly discussions with each other about their favorite exhibits from the museum. After lunch, it was time to take the R train back to our meeting spot. The members had an incredible time exploring the Museum of Moving Image.
