Ice Skating at Wollman Rink
Today we spent an outing in the sun at Wollman’s Ice Skating Rink. At the start of our session, the members gathered and provided the required paperwork to maintain safety by having their temperatures checked while maintaining social distancing. As a responsible gesture, the members suggested using the bathroom before ice skating as a way to avoid needing to interrupt their fun.
Once we arrived at the rink, the members noticed a long line and took advantage of the unexpected wait time and suggested playing games as a fun way to get to know one another. The members decided to play Truth or Dare and Two Truths and a Lie. However, the members realized that they were at the front of the line and excitedly prepared to pay by inquiring about costs and holding their cash in their hands to expedite the payment process.
The members entered the facility and eagerly put their skates on and cautiously walked in their skates towards the rink. During the skating session, the members graciously helped one another as they had fun. Members used their time management skills and chose a good time to leave and have lunch. The members took turns leading and following as we looked for a place outside to sit and eat. During lunch, the members took part in reciprocal conversations and shared their ice skating experiences and great ideas for next week’s outing. Another great day with Teenz In the City.
